Who we are

Aargo Brinechem manufactures industrial salt, bromine and value-added marine chemicals at the Motta Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Aargo Brinechem.

Our registered office is A 112, Siddhi Vinayak Towers, Behind DCP Office, Off. S.G. Highway, Makarba, Ahmedabad 380051, Gujarat, India. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.

This policy applies to this website. It does not cover any third-party website you may reach from a link here.

What we collect

We do not require you to create an account. Apart from the website analytics described under “Cookies and analytics” below, which measure how the site is used in aggregate, we do not collect personal data simply because you browse the site. We collect personal data that identifies you only when you choose to send it to us, which on this website means one of the two enquiry forms.

Customer Enquiry form

  • Your name, job title, telephone number and email address.
  • Your company name, department, website and postal address.
  • The details of your enquiry — the product you are asking about, indicative quantity and the nature of the requirement.

Vendor Enquiry form

  • Your company name, constitution, year of establishment, telephone number, email address and postal address.
  • Business information you provide about your operations, capacity, equipment, quality arrangements and customer base.
  • Statutory registration numbers where you supply them — GSTIN, PAN and MSME/Udyam registration number — together with any certificate you upload in support of them.
  • The name, surname and designation of the person submitting the form on your behalf.

Uploaded certificates are stored on our web server in a directory that is not indexed and from which scripts cannot be executed. Please do not upload documents containing personal data beyond what the registration itself requires.

Our web server also keeps standard technical logs — IP address, request time, requested page, browser user-agent — as every web server does. These are used for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We process the personal data you send us for these purposes only:

  • Responding to your enquiry. Preparing a reply, a quotation or technical information, and contacting you about it.
  • Vendor onboarding. Assessing a prospective supplier, verifying statutory registrations and maintaining our approved-vendor records.
  • Keeping the site secure and working. Detecting abuse of the forms and diagnosing faults.
  • Meeting legal obligations. Where a law or a lawful request requires us to retain or produce information.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, having been told what it is for; and, where applicable, for the legitimate uses the Act permits. You are not obliged to send us an enquiry, and you may withdraw your consent at any time using the contact details below.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email to addresses collected through these forms unless you have asked us to.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry records for up to twelve months from the date of submission, after which they are purged from the site. Where an enquiry leads to a business relationship, the resulting records are kept separately for as long as that relationship and the applicable statutory retention periods require.

If you would like your enquiry deleted before the twelve months are up, write to us and we will do so, unless we are required to keep it by law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not trade or rent it to anyone.

We share it only where sharing is necessary to operate this website and answer you:

  • Our hosting and email service providers, who process the data on our instructions and only to provide those services.
  • Google LLC, which provides Google Analytics and receives the website-usage data described under “Cookies and analytics”. It does not receive the contents of your enquiry.
  • Our own employees who need it to respond to your enquiry or assess your vendor application.
  • Professional advisers, or a public authority, where we are required or permitted by law to disclose it.

Security

We take reasonable security safeguards to protect the personal data in our care against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and loss. These include serving the site over an encrypted connection, restricting who can see form submissions, limiting the file types that may be uploaded and where uploads may be stored, and reviewing these arrangements periodically.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as the Act requires.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we are processing it.
  • Correction and completion — ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or misleading, and to complete or update data that is incomplete.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete personal data we no longer need for the purpose it was collected for, or for which you withdraw consent.
  • Withdrawal of consent — withdraw a consent you have given, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.
  • Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us about how we have handled your data, and receive a response.
  • Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these, write to the contact below. We may need to ask you for enough information to be confident of who you are before we act. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses necessary cookies, which are always on, and analytics cookies and third-party content (the Google Maps map), which are used only if you allow them. The first time you visit, a banner asks for your choice. “Accept” and “Reject” are offered side by side, and “Preferences” lets you decide category by category.

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies are needed to serve pages and to make the enquiry forms work, so they do not depend on your choice — for example, the token that protects a form submission against cross-site request forgery, and the small “cmplz_” cookies that remember your cookie choice for twelve months.

Our enquiry and job-application forms are also protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, a service provided by Google LLC that checks a form is being sent by a person and not by an automated program. It is strictly necessary to protect the forms against spam and abuse, so it runs on those form pages whatever you choose in the banner. To do this Google receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and how the page is used, and may set cookies of its own; it processes this under its privacy policy and terms.

Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use this website — for example, which pages are visited, how long visits last, roughly which region and what kind of device visitors come from, and how they arrived at the site. We use this only to improve the website and its content.

  • Only with your consent. Until you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets no cookies on your device. Google receives only cookieless signals without any identifier — for example, that a page was viewed — which it uses to estimate overall statistics (Google Consent Mode). If you reject analytics cookies, it stays that way.
  • Cookies set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which distinguish one visitor from another and keep track of a visit. They last for up to two years.
  • Aggregated reporting. We see statistics about visitors as a group. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with the details you send through our enquiry forms.
  • IP addresses. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. It uses them only briefly to derive an approximate location and then discards them.
  • No advertising features. We have not enabled Google Analytics advertising features, such as Google signals or ads personalisation, advertising storage stays switched off even when you accept analytics, and we do not use the data for advertising or remarketing.
  • Where it is processed. Analytics data is processed and stored by Google on its servers, which may be located outside India. Google processes it under its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent stops analytics cookies being used from then on; you can also delete any _ga cookies already set, and block cookies altogether, in your browser’s settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Rejecting or blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use this website or its enquiry forms.

Google Maps

The registered-office map on our Contact page is embedded from Google Maps. Loading it is a request to Google, and Google may set cookies of its own under its own privacy policy, so the map is not loaded until you choose to load it — with its “Load map” button, or by allowing “Third-party content” in the banner. The “View on Google Maps” link beside it always works without loading the map here. If we add any other analytics or tracking service, we will update this policy first.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always the one published here.

Contact and grievances

For any question about this policy, to exercise your rights, or to raise a grievance about how we have handled your personal data:

Please mark your message “Privacy” so it reaches the right person. We aim to acknowledge every request promptly and to respond substantively within the period the Act allows.
